This is a full-bodied wine with smooth firm tannins. The expression is complex, with red fruits (cherry and strawberry), liquorice, and flower petal notes (peony and black roses). This firm and silky texture is expressed in the length of a velvety finish. This is an excellent introduction to the Grand Cru wines of the appellation. Can be kept for 10 to 20 years, but you will be able to drink it in the first 5 years by decanting one hour before serving the wine.
